During a personal medical emergency, My MCR™ Card™ is designed to provide first responders with immediate access to critical medical information, anywhere and at anytime. The device plugs into the USB port of any computer and is compatible with any operating system (Windows, MAC, Linux, etc.). No special software or extra drivers are needed. All personal health crisis record (MCR™ ) information is stored on a privately-held and secure web-based server with no third-party affiliations. All transmissions are encrypted and password-protected for your security. Once the device is inserted into a computer, a pop-up display appears with your critical medical information. This key, patent-pending feature allows first responders to perform a knowledge-based assessment and intervention. By having immediate access to your critical information, the potential for errors, delays, omissions, confusion, unnecessary diagnostic tests, and loss of life is significantly decreased. My MCR™ Card™ puts you in control during these vulnerable events. Along with the “at-the-scene” feature, instructions are provided for the first responders to contact the On Demand Crisis Response Transmittal Service™ (ODCRTS™). The ODCRTS™ is a “pay on demand” service or one can choose an unlimited transmittal plan with an annual membership fee. This service transmits vital medical information to the designated emergency room site or triage facility. Our 24/7 operator sends text messages to all emergency contacts and offers professional, supportive telephone counseling by social workers to primary caregivers. The remote digital device contains vital records such as:
The crisis record information contained in the digital device is password protected and will not allow access to anyone without your password. All MCR™ s are updated and maintained by either the member or you may have our professional staff maintain your records for you. You choose who you want to enter information into the private server. Non-emergency personnel (i.e. case managers, home health nurses, etc.) may also update and maintain information for you. You may also decide to email your MCR™ information to providers before routine or specialty appointments so that your provider may partner with you to help maintain the most up-to-date records. The digital device also provides the added benefit of pre-loaded information about prevention, health and wellness, self-help, and an emergency kit with disaster preparedness information and community resources. In the event that the consumer does not have their capsule in their possession, a laminated Crisis Card can be carried in a wallet or purse and a laminated tag attached to the key chain provides instructions on how to contact the ODCRTS™. |
